Conservaria Ramirez is the oldest canning factory in the world, with 167 years of existence and a heritage of five generations.
The history of Ramirez begins in Vila Real de Santo António, in 1853, by the hands of Sebastian Ramirez. At the time the company was dedicated to salting fish and today it brings a legacy of success to the sector, serving as an example for many who came after that. The company has gone through the fall of empires, two world wars and a pandemic that still haunts the economy on a global scale, but not even these tragic milestones have shaken Ramirez's progress and longevity.
More than 30 products available from the brand, Ramirez arrives to add even more value to our Gourmet section, bringing sardines, codfish, mackerel and tuna in different formats and seasonings.
